Landskron is close to Villach. We had to pay a low fee at the bottom of the castle-hill for driving up to the entrance. The entrance fee was relatively high, but also authorized us to watch the eagle-show. | |||

There was a splendid view on the Ossiacher See. | |||

Main attraction of the castle is the collection of
birds, which should be taken into account when planning the trip. Apart
from various kinds of eagles and vultures we saw owls and a smart
raven, who regularly greeted people saying 'Hallo, Max'. Eagles can
also be watched outside the cages, as an eagle flight-show is organized every
day. |

It received half a star basically as a castle, but an additional star has been given for the birds and the show, so altogether it received one and a half stars from VÁRmánia. | |||
